Winnie was appointed Chief Risk Officer for Reinsurance APAC and Head for Risk Management Reinsurance for Life & Health in April 2022. In this role, she is responsible for executing the risk framework for the reinsurance business in APAC and for the Life & Health business globally. She is a member of Swiss Re's Asia Management Team as well as the Asia Executive Committee.

Prior to this appointment, she was Head of Life & Health North Asia, focusing on accelerating business growth of Swiss Re's life & health business in China, Japan and Korea.

Winnie joined Swiss Re in June 2012 as Head of Health & Medical Solutions Asia to develop innovative solutions with insurers and health ecosystem partners. Later, she was appointed Head of Life & Health Client Markets Southeast Asia, India, Hong Kong & Taiwan in 2016 to drive business origination and client engagement.

Winnie has 20 years of experience in actuarial consulting and reinsurance, and possesses in-depth industry knowledge and the cultural insights to address diverse market needs and varying regulatory landscapes across the Asia Pacific region.

Winnie is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the UK and holds a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science from the London School of Economics, England.
