Mr Teo Chee Hean is Singapore’s Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security. He is Chairman of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Climate Change, and oversees the National Climate Change Secretariat. He also oversees the Smart Nation and Digital Government Group, National Security Coordination Secretariat, and National Population and Talent Division under the Prime Minister’s Office.
He was Deputy Prime Minister from 2009 to 2019, and has served as the Minister for Home Affairs, Minister for Defence, Minister for Education, and Minister for the Environment. He also served as Minister of State in the Ministries of Finance, Communications and Defence. Prior to entering politics in 1992, he was the Chief of Navy holding the rank of Rear Admiral.
Mr Teo graduated with a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) in Electrical Engineering and Management Science from the University of Manchester. He holds a Master of Science (Distinction) in Computing Science from Imperial College and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University.

Bill Gates is chair of the Gates Foundation and founder of Breakthrough Energy and TerraPower. In 1975, he co-founded Microsoft with his childhood friend, Paul Allen, and today he is chair of the Gates Foundation. Bill is also the founder of Breakthrough Energy, an effort to commercialise clean energy and other climate-related technologies, and TerraPower, a company investing in developing groundbreaking nuclear technologies.
At Breakthrough Energy, he’s putting his experience as an innovator and problem-solver to work to address climate change by supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs, big thinkers, and clean technologies. Bill uses his experience partnering with global leaders across sectors to help drive the policy, market, and technological changes required for a clean energy transition.
Through his private office, Gates Ventures, he focuses on Alzheimer’s research and other issues such as healthcare, interdisciplinary education, and technology.

Dr Arunabha Ghosh is an internationally recognised public policy expert, author, columnist, and institution builder. He is the founder-CEO of the Council on Energy, Environment and Water, one of the world’s 20 best climate think-tanks.
Arunabha advises governments, industry, civil society, and international organisations around the world. He currently serves on Government of India’s G20 Finance Track Advisory Group and advises the Sherpa Track for India’s G20 Presidency in 2022-23. In 2022, the UN Secretary-General appointed him to the High-level Expert Group on the Credibility and Accountability of Net-Zero Announcements by Non-State Actors.
Dr Ghosh is currently Vice-Chair of the UN Committee for Development Policy, and is a member of several international expert advisory groups: Global Commission on the Economics of Water; High-Level Group of Economists, constituted by the French president for the One Planet Lab; and the High-Level Consultative Group for the U.S. Department of State’s Energy Transition Accelerator.

Rachel Kyte was appointed UK Special Representative for Climate on 21 October 2024.
She is Professor of Practice in Climate Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford and dean emerita of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
Rachel was previously Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and CEO of Sustainable Energy for All.
She has also served as World Bank Group Vice President and Special Envoy for Climate Change, as well as Vice President for Sustainable Development at the World Bank, and for Business Advisory Services at the International Finance Corporation.
Rachel has held non-executive director, trustee and board member roles with a number of private and public financial institutions, as well as non-profit organisations, focused on climate and development.

Amy Merrill is the Chief Executive Officer of the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (ICVCM), the independent global governance body that sets and enforces threshold quality standards for the voluntary carbon market.
Between 2011 and 2021, Amy led the UNFCCC support to Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, leading negotiations and drafting that resulted in the Article 6 implementing rules at COP26 (2021). Amy was also the senior lawyer for the Kyoto carbon mechanisms and the Kyoto Protocol and Paris Agreement compliance committees. Before UNFCCC, Amy was a leading carbon and climate finance lawyer in the City of London, working with MDBs and investment banks. After UNFCCC, Amy was senior legal counsel at a natural capital asset manager and then worked as interim COO at ICVCM on secondment from the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES). Amy is a UK lawyer with more than 20 years’ experience.

Riccardo Puliti, an Italian national, is IFC’s Regional Vice President for Asia and the Pacific and oversees all investment and advisory operations across the region. Mr. Puliti is focused on leveraging the World Bank Group to scale sustainable private sector led growth by supporting innovative products and transformative technologies. His key priorities for the region include enhancing financial and digital inclusion for underserved communities, closing the gender divide, increasing climate financing, helping countries transition to cleaner sources of energy, and bridging infrastructure gaps.
Previously, Mr. Puliti was the Vice President for Infrastructure at the World Bank. In this role, he led the Bank's global efforts to build effective infrastructure in emerging markets and define the World Bank Group’s strategic business priorities such as the climate change action plan. Mr. Puliti also served as the World Bank’s Regional Director, Infrastructure for Africa, where he led operations and provided strategic direction. Working alongside IFC and MIGA, he helped in the increase in private sector mobilisation. Riccardo joined the World Bank Group as Senior Director of the Energy and Extractives Global Practice in November 2016 and led a team of 500 professionals, developing policies and financing in the global energy and extractive industries.
Prior to joining the World Bank Group, Mr. Puliti was the Managing Director in charge of Energy and Extractive Industries at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. He began his career at Istituto Mobiliare Italiano and later worked at Banque Indosuez and NM Rothschild and Sons in M&A and equity capital markets.
Mr. Puliti holds an MBA from Instituto Superior de Estudios de la Empresa (IESE) and postgraduate studies at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, and Imperial College.

Mary L. Schapiro is Vice Chair of the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ) and Vice Chair for Global Public Policy at Bloomberg L.P., where she also serves as Special Advisor to the Founder and Chairman. She previously served as Chair of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Chair of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and CEO and Chair of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) – the only person to have led all three U.S. financial regulatory agencies.
Schapiro chaired the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) from its launch until its remit was fulfilled in 2023. She currently chairs the Climate Data Steering Committee and the Global Capacity Building Coalition. She serves on the boards of Morgan Stanley and CVS Health, is a trustee of Franklin & Marshall College and the Humane Rescue Alliance and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. She holds a J.D. from George Washington University and a B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College.

Su Shan is the Chief Executive Officer and Director of DBS Group. DBS is the largest bank in Southeast Asia with a market capitalisation of SGD 100 billion (May 2024).
Su Shan was previously the Deputy CEO and Group Head of Institutional Banking, and before that, Group Head of Consumer Banking and Wealth Management for close to a decade. She was also the President Commissioner for PT Bank DBS Indonesia from 2014 to 2024.
Su Shan has over 35 years of experience in consumer banking, wealth management and institutional banking. Besides Singapore, she has experience in major financial centres such as Hong Kong, Tokyo and London. Before joining DBS, Su Shan was Morgan Stanley’s Head of Private Wealth Management for Southeast Asia. She has also worked at Citibank and prior to that at ING Barings.
She served as a Nominated Member of Parliament in Singapore from 2012 to 2014.
In 2018, she was nominated by Forbes Magazine as a “Top 25 emergent Asian Woman Business Leader”. In the same year, she was also named “Retail Banker of the Year”, by the Digital Banker in their inaugural Global Retail Banking Innovation Awards. She was awarded the “Lifetime Achievement” award at the WealthBriefingAsia 2018 Awards.
In 2019, The Asset named Su Shan as one of the six women in Asia who are likely to influence and feature prominently in shaping the banking and associated financial services industry in Asia.
Su Shan sits on the advisory board of Dyson’s family office, Weybourne Holdings. She was previously on the board of the Central Provident Fund of Singapore (CPF Board), Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust, EvolutionX Debt Capital Pte Ltd (a fund focused on growth debt, founded jointly by Temasek and DBS), and The Singhealth Fund Limited, which provides financial support to needy patients.

Prior to joining Mahindra, she was Head of the Strategy and Corporate Affairs function at Diageo India and a member of its Executive Committee. Her responsibilities included Alcohol Policy, Regulatory & Trade matters, Market Access, Corporate Communications & Reputation and programs to address alcohol misuse, champion responsible consumption and deliver Social Impact. As head of Strategy, she led the strategy development and execution for Diageo’s business in India. Prior to this, Abanti was Managing Director, Diageo India Pvt Ltd, leading Diageo’s business mandate for international spirits in India.
Abanti joined Diageo in June 2010 as the Marketing and Innovation Director responsible for building Diageo’s iconic global brands like Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, VAT 69 and Cîroc.
Prior to Diageo, Abanti served as a member of the Tata Administrative Service (TAS) cadre since 1992, in an illustrious career where she held key roles managing some of the best-known consumer brands of the Tata Group in India, United Kingdom and the United States. In her 17-year career with the Tata group, Abanti worked across various companies such as Tata Global Beverages, London, the Taj Group of Hotels- Mumbai & New York, Tata Housing & Tata Finance in Mumbai.
Abanti’s contribution to the business have been recognised by Fortune India (The Most Powerful Women in Business; 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016), IMPACT (50 Most Influential Women in Media, Marketing and Advertising; 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017), India Today (India’s 25 Most Influential Women, 2013) and Fast Company, New York (100 Most Creative People in Business, 2012).
Abanti is an Economics Graduate from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.
