Jani Patokallio is Google Cloud's Head of Solutions for Asia-Pacific, helping customers use the cloud to solve their hardest problems. A veteran of Nokia and three startups, Jani started his career designing and deploying messaging solutions for 12 mobile operators, racking up enough miles to fly to the moon and back twice and picking up 7 languages along the way. 

He moved to Australia to create Lonely Planet's new publishing platform and joined Google in 2013, rewriting font handling in Google Maps to better render Asian languages and building out the Technical Solutions team in APAC.
