Adeline is Vice President at the Economic Development Board, a government agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry, which is responsible for investment promotion and industry development. Adeline leads EDB’s efforts to decarbonise energy-intensive industries, and to promote the growth of green activities such as carbon services and clean energy.

A former government economist, Adeline was part of early efforts to develop Singapore’s position on climate change. She has held various roles across the Singapore Government such as in the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Home Affairs, driving the formulation of strategies and policies on infrastructure security, fiscal planning and national economic strategy.

Adeline is an INSEAD MBA alumna and certified FRM. She holds a Master’s degree in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the London School of Economics as well as a First Class Honours in Economics from Cambridge University.
