Robert (Bob) Mainprize joined Temasek in January 2017 and is currently Head, Risk Management.
Bob was most recently Chief Risk Officer, Asia Pacific of Barclays Bank PLC, a role he assumed in 2000. He was a member of the Group Credit Committee, Asia Pacific Executive Committee and Chairperson of the Asia Pacific Underwriting and Distressed Asset Trading approval committees. Prior to his appointment in Singapore, Bob was the Global Head of Sovereign and Financial Institution and Contingent Risk Management for Barclays in London.
Bob worked for the Barclays Group in the Americas and Europe, as well as in Tokyo and Singapore. He held a number of senior management positions in the banking, trading and risk management areas of Barclays.
Bob is a Distinguished Fellow of The Institute of Banking and Finance (Singapore). He graduated with Honours from the University of Exeter (England) with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Politics and has also been awarded a Banking Diploma by The Chartered Institute of Bankers (England and Wales).

Dr. Tianyin SUN leads his team to develop approaches and models for quantifying the impact of environmental and climate-related risks on the macroeconomy and the financial system at the Center for Green Finance Research of Tsinghua University. He serves as the associate editor of the International Journal of Sustainable Finance and Investment, workstreams coordinator of the Network of Central Banks and Supervisors for Greening the Financial System (NGFS), member of the Green Development Expert Committee of the China Insurance Association for 2060 carbon neutrality target, and member of the Global Advisory Committee of GARP Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) program.
Prior to his current position, Dr. Tianyin SUN has worked with the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (CBIRC), ETH Singapore Research Center, ThinkStep AG in Germany, UNEP Collaborating Research Center, and the UN Headquarters in New York.
Dr. Tianyin SUN has published more than a dozen high-profile academic journal articles in the field of environmental risk and green finance, several of which have been featured as ESI "highly cited" papers. His personal Google Scholar citations have now exceeded 2,600.
Dr. Tianyin SUN holds a PhD degree in natural science from the ETH Zurich in Switzerland.

Karen assumes the role of Head Life & Health Products Asia from April 2022, responsible for the conduct of Swiss Re's L&H reinsurance business and the delivery of the APAC L&H Plan. Karen also advocates and advances the sustainability agenda in Asia and leads various sustainability initiatives in Swiss Re.
Karen joined Swiss Re as its Asia Chief Risk Officer in May 2014 and assumed the additional role as the global Head of Risk Management for the Life and Health Reinsurance business since 2018. Karen was previously Chief Actuary of Zurich Life Insurance Company in Switzerland.
Karen is a Fellow of the UK Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and holds a Master of Business from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. She completed the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School in 2018. Karen also sits on the Nanyang Business School's Alumni Advisory Board, and the Ecole Hôtelière Lausanne's Singapore Advisory Board.
Dominic Chan is responsible for supporting the integration of Environmental, Social and Governance considerations in Temasek's investment process. He leads engagement of portfolio companies on their climate transition journey, including assessment of their carbon emissions footprint as well as their exposure to transition and physical risks.
Prior to joining Temasek, Dominic worked as Senior Lead for the Capital Goods and Cleantech clusters at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). He also had stints as a Senior Responsible Investment Advisor at Sustainalytics and as an Associate in the Climate Change & Sustainability Services team at Ernst & Young.
Dominic holds a degree in Accountancy, with a second Major in Finance, from the Singapore Management University (SMU).
