Shyla Raghav is Conservation International’s leading climate change expert, and drives the organization’s climate change strategy to secure and maximize nature’s potential as a climate solution by leveraging technology, policy, and market innovation. Shyla played an integral role in the negotiations on the Paris Agreement, signed by 195 countries, and has been instrumental in influencing international climate policy for over a decade.
Having worked on both climate change mitigation and adaptation, Shyla has worked at the World Bank, Adaptation Fund, United Nations Development Programmme, United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. From both California and northern India, Shyla studied applied ecology and international relations at the University of California, Irvine and earned her master’s degree in environmental management from Yale University. She was named an InStyle’s BadAss women, a Grist Top 50 Fixers, a AAAS/IfTHEN Ambassador for women in STEM, and has been featured on CNN, Vice News, and Elle Magazine.

Professor Koh Lian Pin is Associate Vice President and Chief Sustainability Scientist at the National University of Singapore. He oversees and champions sustainability-related research at the University through a whole-of-university strategy that bridges academia, policy, industry and civil society. Prof Koh is presently also the Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple Professor of Conservation, Vice Dean (Research) at the Faculty of Science, Director of the Centre for Nature-based Climate Solutions, and Director of the Tropical Marine Science Institute.
Bringing 18 years of international research experience in the field of sustainability and environmental science, Prof Koh returned to Singapore in 2020 under the National Research Foundation’s Returning Singaporean Scientists. Prof Koh is one of the most highly cited conservation scientists in Asia, a TED-Global speaker, Founding Director of ConservationDrones.org, and a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader.

Mikkel Larsen is the Chief Executive Officer of Climate Impact X (CIX), a global marketplace, auctions house and exchange for trusted carbon credits based in Singapore. He is responsible for developing and executing CIX’s vision to scale carbon markets through transparency and integrity; as well as build trust for and bring to market the next wave of impactful carbon credit solutions.
Mikkel was one of the early pioneers of the international Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) and of Singapore’s Emerging Stronger Taskforce, a public-private partnership to develop a more carbon-conscious society. Prior to his current role, he was the Group Chief Sustainability Officer and chair of the Sustainability Council at DBS Bank. He has also held leadership positions at UBS, Citigroup and KPMG in Europe.
Mikkel is involved in numerous international and Singaporean sustainability-related councils and committees. These include: the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market; World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and Natural Climate Solutions Alliance (NCS Alliance); and World Wildlife Fund Advisory Council (Singapore), amongst others.
Mikkel is passionate about wildlife, animal rights and nature conservation. He is a frequent speaker on sustainability related topics including green finance and voluntary carbon markets and has authored publications in these fields.
