James Chang is the CEO of Lazada Singapore. He has been with the Lazada Group since 2012, managing key functions across Southeast Asia, including operational and corporate strategy. Before moving into the top role in Singapore, James co-founded Lazada Philippines and served as Managing Director for two years, building the team and growing the business into one of the top eCommerce marketplaces in the country.

James also incubated the Group’s Crossborder business as Chief Crossborder Officer, putting even more products within the reach of Southeast Asia’s over 600 million customers. Prior to Lazada, James was a strategy consultant with Accenture, working in Canada, US and the UK. James graduated from the University of Western Ontario and holds a Bachelor of Finance (Management and Organizational Study) and a Bachelor Business Administration (Hons) from the Ivey School of Business.
