Celebrity chef and judge

Chef Irene Yip has pursued baking and culinary teaching excellence for over 35 years. With her great desire to pass on her passion for food and share her knowledge and skills to the next generation, she took on various certifications and diplomas specialising in dim sum, Chinese cooking and bakery from institutions in China, Hong Kong and Singapore.

She has been featured in several cooking shows and competitions as a celebrity chef and judge, and has collaborated with Mediacorp for two of their cooking series. She has also contributed to local newspapers and food and beverage publications such as Xin Flavours and BBC Good Food. Chef Irene continues to hone her skills in cooking up authentic dishes and discovering new ways to create plant-based meat or cultured meat dishes through her travels and experiences with different chefs.
