Richard Forrest is the lead Partner of A.T. Kearney’s Global Energy and Process Industry practice which covers Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Utilities, Mining & Metals, and other process industries. He has extensive international experience working with high-profile clients on transformational initiatives including cost optimization, growth/portfolio strategies, R&D effectiveness, complexity reduction, and challenging merger integrations.

Richard is Chairman of the A.T. Kearney Energy Transition Institute (not-for-profit independent institute focused on technology developments) and chairman of EV8 Technologies, a joint venture focused on “hands-on” building of leading new energy business models collaborating with companies across energy, transport and infrastructure sectors. Richard also serves on A.T. Kearney’s global board of directors, having served on all committees over the course of his tenure.

Prior to joining A.T. Kearney, Richard worked for KBR in London on capital projects (Refining, LNG) and technical/economic evaluations in oil and gas. He also worked for Bechtel in London on major capital projects in the oil and gas sector (upstream, refining, chemicals). Richard earned his MBA from Cranfield School of Management and his master’s in chemical engineering from University of Nottingham.
