Mrs Nina Yang is the Chief Executive Officer of SJ CityGlobal under Surbana Jurong Pte Ltd. She oversees the business of advisory and management of master developments and real estate developments.

Nina has diverse experience in public and private, local and overseas projects. She started her career with the Public Works Department of Singapore. She followed the organisation through its privatisation and was involved with various projects across cities in China, India, Middle East, Vietnam and Myanmar.

She is especially familiar with the China urbanisation story, having been through projects not only as architect and urban planner but also as developer, as she chairs JV investment companies for projects such as China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City and Amaravati Capital City in India. This was during her time in Ascendas-Singbridge as the CEO of Sustainable Urban Development in the group.

Nina is currently involved in developing large scale urban centres in Almaty, Ho Chi Minh City, Vientiane and more recently in cities in Australia.

Nina is often invited to present at international conferences and seminars. She co-chairs the Singapore sustainability council at Urban Land Institute and is the vice president of Singapore Institute of Planners. She is also a board member of the Science Centre Singapore.
