Jeff Johnson is a Managing Director at Temasek where he leads the US-based sustainable investing team for the Singapore-headquartered global investment firm. He has worked in, advised and raised capital for numerous sustainable start-ups while also advising multiple large corporations and investment firms on sustainable investing strategies. Prior to joining Temasek, Jeff ran a boutique advisory business serving a range of clients to accelerate the growth of sustainable businesses. During this time, he also co-founded Xpansiv, the world's leading provider of market infrastructure for environmental commodities, and served on the Board.

Jeff worked in an innovation business development function under the Executive Committee at ABB between 2012 to 2014, leading growth initiatives for new sustainable products and services. Before his time at ABB, Jeff worked at Better Place, an electric vehicle start-up, from 2008 to 2011 overseeing equity and debt fund raising and partnership development with automotive and electricity utility partners. Between 2005 to 2007, Jeff worked in data science functions at Vendavo (acquired by Francisco Partners) and Rapt (acquired by Microsoft) where he was responsible for developing and growing pricing optimisation enterprise software solutions. Jeff began his career at Intel Corporation in 2001 as a data science engineer focusing on software development to optimise production planning globally.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with Highest Honours from University of Florida and a Master of Science in Engineering Systems from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
