Dirk Jan Kennes is the Asia Head of RaboResearch Food & Agribusiness at Rabobank since January 2022. Prior to this, he was Rabobank’s Global Sector Strategist for Farm Inputs since 2007.

Based in Hong Kong, Dirk Jan and his team conduct research across various food and agribusiness sectors, providing valuable insights to Rabobank’s clients. Their work includes in-depth reports on sector and commodity forecasts, current market trends, and future industry developments. The Asia RaboResearch Food & Agribusiness team is part of a global network of about 80 research analysts, allowing them to identify macroeconomic trends and industry dynamics in key Food & Agri sectors.

Dirk Jan brings a wealth of experience in the field of Food & Agribusiness. Before Rabobank, he held management positions at Kemin Food Ingredients, was business manager Feed at Corbion, and worked in marketing and sales management of feed and food ingredients at Akzo Nobel.

Dirk Jan holds a degree in agronomy with a focus on animal nutrition, and an MBA from Twente University in the Netherlands.
