Andy is an investor and entrepreneur whose Profit with Purpose philosophy has shaped various global industries. He founded LeapFrog Investments in 2007. By 2017, Fortune ranked LeapFrog as one of the top 5 Companies to Change the World, alongside Apple and Novartis.

LeapFrog’s companies now serve 221 million people in emerging Asia and Africa with healthcare or financial tools. Revenue across portfolio companies has grown on average at 26 per cent per year since investment. Global investors have committed over USD 2 billion to the group’s private equity funds.

Andy has been recognised by the Economist Group for demonstrating how "to change the way we invest as individuals, institutions and societies". He has received leadership awards from the World Economic Forum, Young Presidents Organisation, EY and other global institutions. 

Born and raised in South Africa, Andy is now an Australian. He was educated at Harvard, Cambridge and Witwatersrand Universities and holds a PhD from Cambridge. Andy has authored two books on globalisation and governance and co-authored publications with diverse leaders and Nobel laureates.
