Shashank Kumar, an alumnus of IIT Delhi (’08), co-founded the full-stack, business-to-farmer (B2F) agritech platform DeHaat, in 2012, and currently serves as its CEO. DeHaat is a one stop destination for small farmers, catering to all their agricultural needs. Under his leadership, DeHaat is grown into one of India’s largest full-stack AgriTech platform, serving over 13Mn farmers and 15,000+ micro-entrepreneurs across 12 Indian states. 

During his entrepreneurial journey, Shashank has been felicitated with multiple recognitions including ‘Economic Times 40 Under Forty, 2022’, ‘BW Disrupt 40 Under 40, 2017’ & ‘Forbes 30 Under 30, 2014’. In 2014, he was recognised by Times Now in their list of Amazing Indians and in 2013, he was awarded the honour of ‘Ashoka Fellow’, recognising the world’s leading social entrepreneurs. Shashank has also been instrumental in leading his team to numerous milestones including prestigious awards like NDTV Rural Infra Pioneer Award (2024) & The Hindu BusinessLine Changemaker of the Year (2022) amongst others.
