Dhruv Sawhney, Founder and CEO, came onboard to lead Rize after heading up Nuture.Farm, one of India’s largest digital platforms for facilitating sustainable agriculture. Under Dhruv’s leadership, Rize is building a full stack technology platform that will serve and support smallholding farmers’ needs and incentivise transition to sustainable low-carbon rice cultivation while improving their resilience. In addition to direct experience in decarbonising the rice value chain, Dhruv is also a successful startup founder having built his food supply chain business WOTU, which he continues to head after it was taken over and renamed HyperPure by Zomato in 2018. Dhruv has also spent many years in various leadership roles at GoJek, PayPal, Dell and Tata Consultancy Services.
