The panel hosted by RGE and Eco-Business and moderated by Eco-Business’ Founder and Managing Director Jessica Cheam, will delve into the pivotal and leading role that ASEAN can play to sustain and build a Net-Zero bioeconomy.

The ASEAN bioeconomy employs around 8.2% of the global labour force and generates over $2.3 trillion annually. Three quarters of this lies in agriculture, food manufacture and primary resources.

In our fight against climate change, it is crucial that ASEAN takes the lead but its success will depend on building a sustainable bioeconomy whereby businesses embed a Production-Protection model within their operating models.
