Dr Shailendra Mishra is Global Head of Climate, Environment & Natural Capital at Olam Agri, based out of Singapore. He drives Olam Agri’s and Olam Group’s global corporate environmental sustainability strategy, which includes climate action, regenerative agriculture, and ecosystems workstreams that contribute to Olam’s vision to be nature-, climate-, and livelihood-positive.

Shailendra is a conservation and ecology scientist passionate about developing nature-based solutions. Dr Mishra holds a PhD from the National University of Singapore in climate and environmental science and deciphering the ecological drivers of tropical peatland oxidation leading to greenhouse gas emissions. He has extensive experience of ~12 years in the field of conservation, restoration, sustainable agriculture, above- and below-ground (soil) carbon, green finance, waste-to-valorisation, and climate change across APAC and EU regions.
