At Bootle's, Benn oversees day-to-day operations of the farm and leverages existing infrastructures to optimise growth of a variety of produce ranging from microgreens to edible flowers.

Passionate about food, urban farming and sustainability, Benn’s goal is to use technology in farming to give back to communities – starting with growing fresh, healthy and nutritious produce with a long-term goal of promoting healthier and more well-informed food choices.

What started as a side hustle became a full-blown obsession as he fell in love with the flavour and nutrients of the microgreens and herbs. Having trained at a world-class farm in Manhattan, New York, it showed him the power of small farms in cities and has thus made his work here in Singapore very fulfiling. He finds joy in educating and delighting visitors with information, flavours and community.
